Urja Handicraft Exhibition and Fair 2025

Date: 13 September, 2025

Venue: Kulturhaus Milbertshofen

The Handicraft Fair was a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture and community, with 20 aspiring and small-scale Indian women entrepreneurs coming together to showcase their talents. The space came alive with beautifully handcrafted products, traditional art forms and unique creations that reflected passion, skill and cultural heritage.

The stallholders enthusiastically presented their work, shared the stories behind their businesses and connected directly with visitors who showed genuine interest and appreciation. For many participants, this platform was an important opportunity to gain visibility, build confidence and receive direct feedback on their products.

Visitors explored a wide range of handmade items, engaged in meaningful conversations with the creators and supported local talent by shopping consciously. The atmosphere was warm and encouraging, filled with curiosity, smiles and a strong sense of community support.

The presence of our guests added great value to the event. Their encouragement and insights inspired the stallholders and reinforced the importance of creating platforms that uplift women-led and community-driven businesses.

Overall, the fair was not just about buying and selling. It was about empowerment, connection and growth. It marked a meaningful milestone for Urja and reaffirmed our purpose of enabling Indian women entrepreneurs to be seen, supported and celebrated.
